It was only about 2 km from Pelling to Pemayangtse Monastery, which was our first cultural destination in Sikkim, so that we first moved into a hotel here in Sikkim with a wonderful view of the Himalayan massif.
We could enjoy the sunrise at Kanchenjunga from our room - beautiful.
